Steemit made the right choice, this is to much heat for this platform and community. It should be a simple rule, never put up a fight with the United States of America government, you going to lose, its that simple. This was the easy route to end up on a sanction list, and given that even cryptocurrency wallets and addresses seem to fair game for them, it was the right choice. For those who may think this kind of censorship goes against what the platform stands for also have to get a dose of reality, even sovereign nation have to humble themselves to the USA. If not, you get sanctions, embargo and the list goes on. Ned life and his entire team could easily be put on line and made an example. The kind of information they are releasing is just to much for this platform. People also need to realize this could also result in Steem being delisted from any US base exchange or any exchange where US customers trade.
To the people behind this level of leak, I know you are reading this, GOOD LUCK. Remember countries like Cuba, North Korea and Venezuela. If you don't have the muscles and the means like the Russian, you are fooling yourself and putting the life of those crusading behind you at risk. I read through some of the comments of folks on this platform and the level of ignorance is sad. Folks you need to know your place even when you believe in something, you need to know how to play this game. I am all against censorship but I definitely know when a fight is beyond me and this one I rest my case here.
