Unfriended:Dark Web (no spoilers)

Forget monsters,little green men or things that go bump in the night or anything;HUMAN BEINGS are the REAL terror! This movie proves it. Submitted for your approval I give you, “Unfriended:Dark Web”. Right to the point, stay off the internet, they’re watching. Cover your mics. They’re listening. Hell don’t even go to coffee shops because they’ll hack ya coffee! Unfriended: Dark Web scared the shit out of me, because somewhere on the interwebs, someone is watching a guy eat human toes;for fun. And the cold shit is, THE DARK WEB IS A REAL THING! All the made-up monsters, ghosts and Freddy Kruger’s of the world can’t hold a candle to a broadband connection and Photoshop.
The movie wasn’t all doom and gloom. They’re are some happy parts. Kinda. The movie stands out as being a very creative and “in the now” piece of art. Mind you that art is brutal as shit; but hey art nonetheless. Plus, you learn a few things watching this movie. You learn your phone isn’t your friend, your computer is a traitorous death tool and you’re not safe anywhere there is a 100MBPS WiFi connection.Maybe it is all doom and gloom afterall. If you ever wanted to take a self defense class, normally it would be boxing or karate or something. Nowadays you’re better off learning PHP and Javascript. And for the combat aficionados, Python. Sounds hella “techie”, but trust me, learning to code might safe ya life! Side note, where's Neo when you need him?
All in all, Unfriended:Dark Web was a pretty fun movie in my opinion. While I don’t think it’s producers will be crossing the Oscar stage, or memorizing thank you speeches, I had fun. I’m a pretty easy critic. The death scenes (and there are alot) were creative and really eye opening. I mean we really leave ourselves open when it comes to the internet and what damage it actually can do to us. Moral of the story, shut down the computer and go outside.
