Last night I headed to Portland Meadows to play in the Dash Digital Cash tournament. There was a good turn out with over 105 entries! Top prize was roughly $2950.00 @ 7.4 Dash.
I managed to play a solid game last night and went out on the bubble (that’s poker folks.)
Played a solid tight game for the first six rounds playing premium hands. Top hands of the night included Pocket Aces dealt my first hand put me up over 10K in chips to start.
Other note worthy hands included a set of queens that won against a player short stacked on a draw for a flush.
As I made it into the 14th round of play I find my stack getting eaten by big blinds as they had increased to 1000/2000 with an 800 ante. Suited A,K (clubs) with a dangerous flop a three bet with a push from my opponent. A bad read on my part as he flopped the nuts.
I’m happy with my game over all as I didn’t have to re-buy and made it to the top 24 players.
Big shout-out to the Dash group, truly hospitable and professional.
I’ll be back to play in their next tournament for sure!
