Hi Stacy, powering up Steem to Steem Power to hold on the Steem blockchain is the way to go. You just have to reset your original account key with your own very secure key. If you are holding Steem outside of Steem Power there is an automatic dilution so with no appreciation of the Steem token the value decreases. Steem Power grows when it is in the Steemit wallet and also gives you increased voting power so you can earn more with upvotes on your own posts and with curation rewards. I assume you are converting Steem to another crypto to hold in your own secure wallet -
which is great too!
You should consider powering up at least half your earnings on Steemit to Steem Power and you will be able to earn exponentially and also be diversified into Steem!

I love Dash, it's a simple and useful coin, just as it should be. What I don't understand in this context, Max, is why you recently called Bitcoin Cash a fraud. It's similar to Dash in it's philosophy and without a doubt closer to the original vision of Bitcoin than 'Tabs' & high fees.. You must be one of the only early Bitcoin adopters, that favours Bitcoin Core over Bitcoin Cash.

bitcoin is the best store of value, you need to think in terms of encryption standards, stability, security network power proof of work not in $ dollar as that will go up and down where as the computing power is just going up and up which is quite worrying for the planet although great for the security.

It's great to hear the real world applications of different cryptos like DASH, how it's used, how it's helping others. I'd like to see more of this conversation instead of the promoters constant, "it's revolutionary, it's open source, it'll bring down the banks."
