There is a long way from 1% to 0.1%.
0.1% can be done here on steemit, by buying STEEM, and upvoting yourself, or delegating SP, so 0.1% is possible.
Remember my hypothesis is just based on 1 person. In reality there can be 1 mil people invested on avg $1.000, around $1 B (bitconnect)...
How can they make 1% of that. If just half of the investors are compounding.
Its unsustainable. It might run for a year, maybe even two, - but thats it.
That's why the % gain has to be reduced over time. If it is meant to be stable at 1% it cannot work ;-)
