You know when you're just sitting there daydreaming while you're supposed to be doing work? Of course you do. Hell, you were probably doing it before you started reading this article.
I've had this really persistent daydream about a space saga featuring Steven Yeun from The Walking Dead and I as mech pilots. Only in this imagining they're called 'Augurs'.
But the Auger tech and the implanted molecular technology has strange effects that sometimes create useful abilities. Steven would have something called 'limited omniscience', where he's aware of everything that happens all around him in a 20 ft. My character would have 'the shadow', a sort of weird semi-real alter self that can materialize, transform, and do other extremely weird shit.
Well, I mean it sounds weird when I put it all down in words.
That's not all, though. There'd be a father character played by Idris Elba who, of course, would be protecting a secret at the heart of the world. What that is, however, I'll keep to myself.
I mean, I've got to save something in case a big time movie executive ever decides to shell out a couple million and make all my dreams come true.
Hey, it could totally happen.
But if I want that I guess I should actually make a script or something. Hmm, my guess is that Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is gonna win out over my dreams tonight.
Too real.
Anyway, I've thought of this thoroughly and enough times for me to have written some things down... somewhere. Hunh. Maybe I'll dig it up or something.
