If anyone's curious ...
I use TD Ameritrade as my broker and use their Think or Swim software. I really like it. It is definitely intimidating for a newbie like me and there are many features I don't use or know how to but it's working great for me so far.
I also have a Robinhood but don't use it much. Using my phone to trade is a pain in the ass. they have talked about a desktop application but I haven't seen it yet. Commission free trading is appealing though. especially for a beginner as you can buy and sell a very small number of shares as you learn and not pay $6.95 both ways (Buy and Sell). I recommend Robinhood for that reason. I don't think you can try and make trading your career and use it though.
The Trading Group I'm in is called True Trading Group. I've tried out a few others and there guys are great. No intimidation and are willing to answer the dumbest questions imaginable. It's more than just buy this and sell this. They teach you what, why, and when all day long everyday. They offer a 7 day free trial. With membership they have some really good courses for those new to the market which I highly recommend. From the basics of what is the stock market to how to short stocks and chart patterns.
