A Lighthouse on Formentera - Ein wunderschöner Leuchtturm auf Formentera

Hello everybody,

I have a weakness for lighthouse. And since we learned that there is one on Formentera, we had to look at this too. You want to know who we were?

The path to the lighthouse leads from San Francisco through increasingly sparsely populated sections until you finally arrive at the southernmost tip of Formentera

The drive to the lighthouse was not without. The sat nav did not find the way immediately because the lighthouse is a bit hidden. Overseers are to be found in the parking lot and from there it is still a long way to the lighthouse.

The path to the lighthouse leads from San Francisco through increasingly sparsely populated sections until you finally arrive at the southernmost tip of Formentera. Get ready for a walk :). But it's worth it.

When you stand in front of the lighthouse, you feel as small as an ant. But the sight is breathtaking. We were there in the late afternoon and were allowed to experience the sunset. That was really great and actually romantic. We sat down and enjoyed our supper. You can not do much here, but to be able to enjoy the view alone was great.

Ich habe eine Schwäche für Leuchttürme. Und da wir erfahren haben, dass es einen auf Formentera gibt, mussten wir uns diesen auch anschauen. Du willst wissen bei welchem wir waren?

Der Weg zum Leuchtturm führt von San Francisco durch immer dünner besiedelten Abschnitte, bis man schließlich am südlichsten Spitze von Formentera angelangt

Die Fahrt zum Leuchtturm war auch nicht ohne. Das Navi fand nicht sofort den Weg dahin, da sich der Leuchtturm etwas versteckt befindet. Am Parkplatz sind Aufseher vor zu finden und von da aus ist es noch ein langer Weg zum Leuchtturm.
Der Weg zum Leuchtturm führt von San Francisco durch immer dünner besiedelten Abschnitte, bis man schließlich am südlichsten Spitze von Formentera angelangt. Mach dich auf einen Fußmarsch gefasst:). Doch es lohnt sich.

Wenn du vor dem Leuchtturm stehst, fühlst du dich klein wie eine Ameise. Doch der Anblick ist atemberaubend. Wir waren zum späten Nachmittag dort und haben den Sonnenuntergang erleben dürfen. Das war richtig toll und eigentlich auch romantisch. Wir haben uns hingesetzt und unser Abendbrot Genossen. Viel kann man hier nicht machen, doch allein den Ausblick genießen zu können war super.
