The smallest Spanish Balearic Island - Die kleinste Baleareninsel auf Spanien

Hello everybody,

Since my sister and I were so excited about Mallorca, we wanted to choose a similar great place. And that did not make the choice difficult for us. We wanted a trip with not too long flight time. So we decided for the smallest Spanish Balearic island in the Mediterranean.

The journey to the island takes place by ferry from party island Ibiza, which naturally makes Formentera a popular tourist destination in summer. Here on Formentera there are crystal clear waters and beautiful long beaches against a backdrop of dunes and pine forests. If you're passionate about sports, you can do activities like snorkeling and sailing.

We searched for a small hotel with breakfast on the island. Since you are on the road all day long, you do not necessarily need a full board. The hotel was on a small street. The beach was two minutes walking. It was clean and totally ok.

Healthy food in the morning to start a good day!

Deutsch / The Same in German

Hallo zusammen,

da meine Schwester und ich so begeistert von Mallorca waren, wollten wir uns einen ähnlichen tollen Ort aussuchen. Und da fiel uns die Wahl nicht unbedingt schwer. Wir wollten eine Reise mit nicht allzu lange Flugzeit. Also entschieden wir uns für die kleinste spanische Baleareninsel im Mittelmeer.

Und das ist Formentera

Die Anreise zur Insel erfolgt per Fähre von Partyinsel Ibiza, was Formentera im Sommer natürlich auch zu einem beliebten Reiseziel macht. Hier auf Formentera gibt es glasklares Wasser und wunderschöne lange Strände vor einem Hintergrund von Dünen und Pinienwäldern. Wenn du Sport begeistert bist, kannst du Aktivitäten machen wie Schnorcheln und Segeln.

Wir suchten uns auf der Insel ein kleines Hotel mit Frühstück. Da man eh den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, benötigt man nicht unbedingt eine Vollverpflegung. Das Hotel befand sich an einer kleinen Straße. Der Strand war zwei Minuten fußläufig. Es war sauber und völlig ok für das was wir vor hatten.
