Dhaka-Rangpur highway has killed seven people, including a woman, in connection with the collision of a passenger truck in Palashbari of Gaibandha. At least 30 people were injured.
Gaibandha district traffic police sergeant Mohammad said that on March 10, at around 11:30 am on the north side of the upazila sadar's Jandah Bridge. Azam.
He said, "A truck loaded with rod-angle loaded from Dhaka (Dhaka-Metro-T-18-4184) was going to Rangpur. There were over half of the passengers on the truck. On the way, the truck fell into a ditch in Khanuddha area. The passengers of the truck were buried under the rod-angle.
Gaibandha Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Rezinur Rahman confirmed the matter to seven people.
After getting the news of the accident, several units of Gaibandha, Gobindaganj and Pirganj fire service came to the rescue and rescued the locals with the assistance of the locals.
In the latest news, seven bodies including women were recovered from 1pm till 1pm. Immediately their identity was not known.
Police superintendent further said that traffic movement on the highway was closed from 11am to 12.30 am on the highway due to the rescue operation on the highway. Currently the movement is normal.
