How I Find 4 GB AMD GPU Deals at Amazon and eBay

#Ka-Chang The Basic Strategy

This is primarily for the cash-strapped gamers and the miners in the US who can't get video cards. Deals work differently in every country but this strategy should work in most parts of the world. For those of you who don't know, Ka-Ching is when you make money, Ka-Chang is when you save money — like the best Chinese haggler that ever existed.

Don't Give Up

I want you guys to have the tools for success. If the links I provide don't show you a deal, try the link again in a few hours, or the next day and the day after that, etc. We in the US live in a free market that awards the hardworking, but please don't let it consume your life.

It's really simple to find good AMD GPU deals because of how they name their products. Leave out the model number for a better, more general search. If you want better FPS, or if you're going to mine for Ethereum, you should shop for GPUs with 4 GB of VRAM or more.

For a 4 GB video/graphics card, your search should be: AMD RX 4G

Amazon

I really like to buy from Amazon because there's a safe feeling I get when I see "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com". Third-party sellers don't usually post super awesome deals. "Fulfilled by Amazon" listings are the next best thing. I don't buy from third-party shippers.

To get the best deals, look for listings that say, "In stock on MONTH, XX". Amazon themselves will raise prices as an item goes out of stock. So you have to hustle, then wait.

Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.

eBay

First of all, make sure your eBay and PayPal accounts are set up so you can snag your deal like a lightning thief.

I don't like to wait around for auctions to complete so I hit the Buy It Now section, plus auctions are not where the deals are. At the time of publishing this article, the deals aren't that good, but two weeks ago I scored a Sapphire RX 560 4GB for $150 when a RX 550 was going for $170 on Amazon! I would've bought a second one but I wasn't sure it was legit. Even though it had an eBay Guarantee, I didn't want to risk it.

eBay Safety Tips

If you aren't able to detect scams, don't buy on eBay. There are scammers on eBay that are taking advantage of video card buyers. See this thread on eBay for more info. Be careful. If there's no eBay Guarantee on the listing you're looking at, WALK AWAY. Always check the seller to see if they have multiple, recent, good and real feedback. Some top sellers' accounts get hacked and scammers use it to post fake listings. If the grammar on the listing or feedback isn't good, walk away. Shrewd scammers leave good feedback on their hacked eBay accounts, but their grammar is usually pretty bad.

Now that you're prepared, try this eBay Buy It Now search.
