good morning to you - i took your advice and got up a little later this morning, i’m still gonna get everything done of course but you were right i certainly wanted to have a long bear sleep, the temps did drop last night, i can feel the cold coming in now, time to wrap up.
great to know you have found some level of ‘balancing’ out, that’s important to try and find especially when you are trying so hard to get everything into place you know, having the determination and foresight to put certain things into place, asking questions, finding inspiration, applying that — loving the work your producing, i can certainly see it.
ha, yeah sounds like you had a good gaming weekend with ya ‘immersion’ — the updates were brilliant — ‘i just took someones eye’ and ‘heck no i’m not getting in the water with a shark’ and who can forget classics like ‘i’ve just put the eye up a goats backside’ — seems like you had a blast, everything covered, all sorted!
yeah that reminds me i should be taking a look at those screencasts myself this week as well actually, i’m doing a lot of things offline now, it’s just so much easier to do, less distractions, less popups and notifications — just grab everything i need as a ‘view’ window and step through, helps with the script as well, let’s hope it goes easy and they like the first video.
having a regular creative ‘tick’ i think fills you up with ‘possibility’ and sets the brain into a certain mod, that’s bound to spill/leak out into your clients work too ya know? i loved your work you did this weekend, i could so seeing you doing some kind of ‘billy!’ style thing — your packaging is that good right now.
yeah i think you’ve kinda nailed it in the post today, it’s about stacking those dailies in such a way that you know you can crush that and then leave energy and time for life and admin around it — but having a schedule set out means that your not just spinning wheels you know, straight in, getting things done, having a process tree of activity on daily means that your geared up for when the clients do arrive with requests — prime mondays! :)
absolutely get everything sorted with the teeth before you get back here love, it’s important that you have all that resolved because you know it’s nearly impossible to get that done here, i wonder how paid/private works over here, wonder if you could use something like our bupa walk-in service in an emergency? dunno, like i said probably best to do that stateside.
well i mean your root situation was quad root situation so that’s gonna take time, the most important thing is that they got all the bad stuff out of the root because if you build on top of that and it’s bad underneath or has any bad stuff in there then it’s no point doing it ya know? i know it took a long time but root canals do, it’s the biggest job you’ll ever do.
yeah i always put the green screen up for talking with clients, also drops the hit that you can do green screen work as well ;) — i’d suggest running that cleaning software after every big browsing session, and export ya settings from OBS and then uninstall using that program and fresh install it again, the latest version might serve ya better — like i mentioned yesterday, complete change of kit for the coming year, new everything ;)
as for me this morning, i’m feeling pretty set too, yesterday was great, if not weird and the weather for october was wild, but we spent time on the park nearby and just had a great hanging time, bought her a slice of a brownie and she was ‘happy as larry’ — i was glad to spend some time with poppet, it’s part of my week that if it get’s skipped i get a bit jumpy over it.
funny ya mentioned ya green screen because at some point would be great to get a little movie from you as i wanna make some gifs for the amp site for the profiles section, certainly wanna get more work done on that — oh also i’ll be testing out that other software today at some point, i think i’ll probably use that for modding more than anything, especially as i can just set it up in less than 15 minutes and start fresh each time.
also, just changing up things like that has really made me start to really rediscover blocks of time again which is awesome because i was getting a bit sucked into things that are of no importance, all i need to focus on is the travel funds, bills, kit upgrades, transport and christmas! :) — i’m super keen to setup some kind of ultra simple media site for us as well so people can ‘tune’ in to a live podcast session and to display our ‘times’ when we ‘roughly’ do our shows, like a media frontend, pulling in our ‘videos’ across youtube, dtube and wherever else we store it so it’s in one place.
