• I shared Kitboga streams with Dad tonight

He’s upstairs now watching highlight reels on his phone, I can hear him laughing every few minutes. We were able to catch a particularly ridiculous call together in which the scammer was trying to convince his old lady character that he was a priest and he was going to bless her computer for $4000, I mean DAMN. We really out here as humans huh?

Sure it’s funny in the moment, but damn is it sad that there are full thriving economies based on lies deceit and exploitation, not to mention the scammers! -- See what I did there? ;) Lol I know I’m lame.

This evening I took a little time and packed up little babka packages for mom and grandma and wrote out little Christmas cards, and that’s that. No stress, just time with family, the way it should be. I know we’ve talked about it ad-nauseum but I’m really doing it more for the fact that I’ll be heading out soon. Doing my cosmic due diligence. The holidays won’t really start until I’m with my mouse. <3 Home is where the heart is.

A bit more positive momentum news! I got another message from a potential new client today who wants VO work. It seems like a big ship that moves slowly but they shot me a message to let me know I’m in the running for some English dubbing work. Happy to take it…. OH!

I know you’ve got a lot on this AM so I promise I won’t keep you long. It feels like my magic ginger lemon honey and mint mixture is helping keep things at bay, I’m actually feeling a little better than I was this afternoon. Hopefully I can work on a little client time and the rest creative work and tidying up and mega prep mode for the morning, early rise and then head to Mom’s and be there by the afternoon. I’m actually interested to see what the new sim will be like from her place up in the mountains, could be quite an improvement as they are a shoot-off from Verizon.
