What you need:
Death Wish Coffee, brewed
Irish Whiskey
1/2 cup heavy cream OR 1 can of unsweetened coconut milk*
A pinch of brown sugar
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon of hot (preferably near boiling) water
Mason Jar, frozen for 15 minutes
Stemmed Glass
*Refrigerate coconut milk for at least six hours. Replace teaspoon of maple syrup with 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar.
Directions:
MAKE FROTHED CREAM
It's easy, don't be lazy and buy it. Shake heavy cream and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup in freezing cold mason jar for two minutes straight. Freeze for up to 15 minutes before serving.
BREW DEATH WISH COFFEE
Brew it as strong as ever. We recommend a french press for this recipe. Just use the excess water from the kettle to preheat your glass in the next step. A pot of coffee will work well, too.
HEAT AND SWEETEN YOUR GLASS
Melt brown sugar into hot water and swish. Since the whipped cream that we made is only lightly sweetened, this is your opportunity to add more sugar if you enjoy very sweet coffee.
