Grisly details are now emerging about how 10 year old Caleb Schwab died while visiting a water park in Kansas City, Kansas.
It appears a strap or harness that was holding him in came loose near the end of the ride causing the fatal neck injury, but details are still not clear at this time. Witnesses say they saw what appeared to be a decapitated body wash down the end of the slide and splash down into the pool...
The speed slide is the tallest in the world and sends riders down 17 stories at up to 65 miles per hour. Park officials say the park will be closed through Wednesday and the slide will remain closed while the matter is being investigated.
