SATURDAY night while the whole team is practicing for tomorrow's sunday service, we were just all caught off guard and stunned upon the news of losing our Pastor's father. When everyone realized it, inevitably joy and excitement in our hearts were replaced by terrible grief and affliction at those very moments.
- The wife at the wake of her husband. She staring at his man inside the coffin just breaks our hearts.
It was so sudden to all of us, as we were still familiar with him a week ago being so lively and entertaining to us. That's why it's just so difficult somehow to imagine such an unexpected happening to him. He went home to the province at that night together with her wife to stay for a vacation. But at 11:00pm, he started to have hard time breathing and gasping for air. Then her wife now started to panick but still choose to composed herself and pray to the Lord to battle for her husband's life. But at 12:07 am, he finally gave his rest.
- The entire family together with their husbands and wives and their children. It was a gesture of them still being as one at the lost of their father.
- The Orchestra sang and played Christian songs at the wake of Papa Al to encourage and symphatize with everyone. With that, they were ministered through the lyrics of these songs.
- Papa Al is now carried out from their house to his final resting place. It was truly a very painful sight seeing his sons and grandsons carrying him.
- The team played final songs to minister all the attendees about God's Word and encourage them in this difficult and trudging times.
Despite such pain and sorrow the entire family is going through now, still they choose to be happy and optimistic amidst all, because they know that God is still in total control of everything and knowing that their father is now finally with his Father in heaven. With that everyone of us came into realization,
"Death is the destiny of every man and it is certain to happen, but if you have God in your life then he will be your assurance and peace that fear of death will no longer have a place in your heart. What a beautiful life to live at the feet of the Lord and gaze upon his beauty."
- The family showing their love, unity and compassion for one another binded by the enduring love of God.
Hope that's something a valuable insight to you fellow steemians. Shalom
