Morality Without God

Can we have morality without God? Here is a video, below, a debate, between two people, Dennis Prager, whom believes in following Christ (God), and the other man is Michael Shermer whom does not believe in God. The video is moderated by Dave Rubin of the Rubin Report. They talk about right and wrong. Some might say we can believe in objective truth without believing in a Creator God. Many believe in subjective truth. I'm a fan of objective truth over subjectivity. What do you believe in and why, fundamentally?

This is a unique situation. We can disagree with each other and still debate and talk about things from different perspectives. Many people will not do this. Many people only talk to people they agree with. Spend some time understanding people from different perspectives. We may respect people with doubts regardless of if you believe in God or not. We may be open enough in life to admit the other person could be right. They talk about the afterlife too. What happens after we die?

It does not require to believe in god to become moral and believers in god always told that their would no morality without believing in got because there would be no fear for punishment if one commits a crime (one reason). nice post . upvoted.

Subjectivity accelerates and morality becomes too consensual. Without God, who decides what is bad and why and how? How would society know what is or is not good and bad? Why would you trust people with defining morality when you do not even trust them with your phone?

society know already what is good or bad without the concept of god because humans are the only animals who works on flexible volunteer cooperation and their is no need for any central authority to direct people what to do.for truth there is a proper justice system.

Excellent work dear friend @joeyarnoldvn, thank you very much for sharing this interesting post
