Whoever wrote this either doesn't know how words work, how logic works, or she's lying.
The study was conducted by an openly anti-gun organization.
The methodology is openly flawed being that they openly said that they were basing the measure of the tightness of gun restrictions entirely subjectively. Basically, they admitted that they weren't talking gun laws as a whole; they were picking the gun laws that they wanted to use in the study and disregarding the laws that didn't fit the narrative.
Finally, the last paragraph claims that reported USA gun deaths in 2021 hit record numbers of over 20,000. If gun murders went up to 20,000 (which they didn't), that would be a record number. Gun murders in the USA are about 12,000 a year and suicides are usually about double that. So, if we're down to 20,000 gun deaths, it's a record low.
