30. Resolutions
I don't make New Years Resolution, but one thing I would like to get done this year is to scan and digitize a whole suitcase full of old family photos that belonged to my grandparents and were given to me over 30 years ago. Maybe if I put it down here as a resolution, I will actually do it this year.
But it is simply too much to think about doing the whole cupboard full of albums and boxes full of old film photos that I have accumulated over the years. Maybe if I get the suitcase done I can think of starting on the cupboard!

I love old photos but I do understand the work that will be involved in that project.
I made a mess for myself that I now need to deal with. When getting the Christmas tree out of the attic I also removed old boxes... Who knows what all is in them but I've not needed any of it for about 11 years now. Silly me thought it would be good to go through them.
I should go back in time and kick myself. Ha!!

I see now, the challenge for this date is "resolutions" not old photos.
I don't do resolutions.
I could post some more old photos though...however I'm playing at 3 pm both today and tomorrow.
I need to get off my butt (and off this computer) and go out to my car for a music book
To practice "The Tiger Rag" for one of the residents where I'll be playing today.
As soon as I finish eating this cereal, I will do that, so any of those old photo

Yep that's a lot of work to be done but would need to be done. We lost a lot of photos when we had a termite infestation. Memories all gone 😢

I love old photos. I have a ton of them too....but I need a new scanner, mine takes forever. I always wanted to frame them and do a wall of photos, but then I realized I'd have to dust!!! So, it's a no go. I'll visit them on my photo library.

I am going to try using a scanner app on my phone. I need to get better using it, but I think it may be quicker than my scanner. I'll figure it out, eventually!

My mom has all of our family photos on slides, under plastic sheets in photo albums, as well as 8 mm and VHS movies. I have no idea how and where to start...

I suspect I will be stumbling along through this! I will, hopefully, learn as I go, and if I ever do get it figured out I'll let you know! My son put all of our old VHS tapes onto CDs several years ago, but I have no clue how that happened! And my uncle paid to have all his 8mm home movies put onto VHS...and now something should be done to update those. It seems like a never ending process!
