When we talk in terms of antonyms and synonyms, as we mention the word offline the next word that comes to mind is the word online. That may sound a little presumptuous. But in this light we have continually substitute the offline society with the online one believing that, if there's somewhere else to live on earth without dying aside our planet earth, then it would be the digital world. So the safest place to live and clone our actual lives becomes the internet. On the internet we keep all vital informations and personal things with the believe that the offline isn't safe enough. For example, a large number of steemians prefer keeping their keys in digital form. In that it is safer and easier to retrieve in an online vault than an offline vault.

From the foregoing, imagine someone else gaining access to those keys you expect to be personal. Or imagine your nude childhood pictures that you admire so much being accessed by a third-party. It is with these kind of informations corrupt internet authorities leverage on to become an over $3 trillion USD industry without any actual compensation to those individuals (you and I) who's rights are being violated.

It an attempt to solve this unfairness that Decenternet rose to the occasion. Dnet isn't anti-internet like most people would think but instead, it seeks to solve the lapses of the internet by creating an effective hyper-speed P2P distributed internet solution platform. Recognizing that every user have the only right to access their own information and such information should and must remain private until the user decides to share it with the general public or any third-parties.
