A large room that evolves

in decoration •  7 years ago

Jules has been changing a lot lately, growing and evolving. He wanted to change the decor in his room and of course I said yes. You think, I love it! He dreamed of having his bed on the floor with plenty of cushions and to be able to receive his friends there.
But above all, he wanted to part with many things that linked him to his early childhood: so we sorted out and gave away all his old toys. It was a bit moving for me to do all this, but it was important for him.

He kept his books, his guitars and some legos in a safe while everything else is gone. For the decoration, we have resold his old furniture and little by little we make the rest with pallets of recovered furniture, exactly as he wanted.

There are still many things to do: sewing new curtains, installing plants and cactus, but finally the new spirit is already there. On the walls too we have removed everything and kept only his word in industrial letters and this Budapest card that he loves.

He'd like a second one from Tokyo soon, after our trip. We have created this map, together, on the Mapiful website, where you can choose the city, backgrounds, colours and legends of your poster. So he did it exactly as he wanted it to be done.

To be added also are some polas and then all the bds that invade all the rooms of the house little by little. I really like this place, which is very much like her. I hope it will be a place of beautiful dreams and a multitude of passions. In any case, his little sisters already like it, so much so that he told me to put up a sign forbidden to little sisters too curious!!
