Do you know what day it is? It's World Down Syndrome Day! So "Rock your socks"
The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrom.
We mark this day to raise awareness and support for those living with Down Syndrome. It also highlights the facts of what It's like to have Down syndrome, and how those with Down syndrome have, and continue to play, a vital role in our communities.
So show your colours and make a statement! Wear two different coloured socks today.
Wear them for Down Syndrome awareness because It's World Down Syndrome Day!
