Ignore the DeepOnion Fuders!

I was in a conversation with a fellow Onioner few days ago and what he proposed as a kick ass measure to get rid of DeepOnion fuders really cracked me up. Dude wants developers to come up with software that will handpick devices where negative news about DeepOnion originate from and turn such devices into giant Onions. Never knew someone could be as concerned about the negative media around DeepOnion as this. Well, he will probably need a magic wand other than software development skills to achieve his goal.

Deep within, I think some of these fuders deserve such kick ass measures if it will silence them forever. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about their activities as everyone is entitled to their opinions. However, looking at the brighter side of these, I think we stand to gain more. The negative news could spur prospective members of this community to perform in-depth research about DeepOnion through which the real truth will be revealed.

It’s a fact that we can’t get everyone to be on our side. In life, you win some and lose some. As far as this current situation is concerned, in coming years, I believe our diehard antagonists will wish they had invested the time spent spreading fake reports about DeepOnion into making some cool Onions.

So, guys, if the likes of Bitcoin and Ethereum could face enormous criticisms at the time they hit the cryptocurrency market, then expect it to get worse with DeepOnion. I’m not a prophet of doom, this is just the reality.

We all know the worth of these digital assets as we speak. They’re simply unperturbed by the destructive opinions of critics. In a nutshell, it’s part of the game to have critics working assiduously to pull down a worthy cause. There is absolutely nothing one could do about an ignorant fellow who is equally not willing to be educated. Only experience can teach such people. I will suggest we keep working hard to ensure the success of what we believe in.

It’s necessary for us to develop a thick skin towards critics referring to us as a scam altcoin. But, let’s face it. What really constitutes a scam altcoin as these guys have been portraying us to be? I guess a little bit of education will be appropriate at this point.

To spot a scam altcoin, there are several telltale signs to look out for. Firstly, scam cryptocurrencies don’t serve a real purpose or solve a real problem. Users don’t have any derivable benefit from joining the network and such digital coins are often surrounded by empty promises. Everyone is aware DeepOnion brings high-end security and anonymity to cryptocurrency transactions via full tor integration. Also, users stand to benefit from its numerous features such as DeepVault for file verification and DeepSend among others.

Secondly, scam digital currencies have no serious technology backing them. They are simply bunches of schoolboy experimental junks hanging loosely to a vulnerable structure. Technology is crucial to the success or failure of cryptocurrencies. No doubts, the technical innovation behind DeepOnion has driven its success so far. Apart from being Tor-integrated, the generation (or mining) of DeepOnion coins is based on a hybrid of Proof of Work (PoW) and X13 Proof of Stake (PoS) algorithm. I once explained the implications of combining both PoW and PoS in a previous article. You can read further here.

Thirdly, scam cryptocurrencies have no clear roadmap or pathway. This is often the situation because the owners lack a clearly defined purpose. They are simply out to profit from the ignorance of unsuspecting users. The development or growth of DeepOnion was clearly laid out from Day1 and users can easily monitor its progress. We know what to expect at a particular time. Scam coin owners tend to be discreet with information about their coin’s lifecycle.

Fourthly, a digital currency without a strong community backing it is dead on arrival. Most scam coins have a weak community and the users making up this community often have little or no influence over its future. Using this as a yardstick, it’s actually laughable for someone to tag DeepOnion a scam. The growth of the community since the last quarter has been unprecedented and the atmosphere is also electrifying. We keep having new members join the train every day from all over the world. We also have a committed group of users who have contributed to this growth at various levels out of sheer benevolence. For instance, some members took it upon themselves to develop a new website. We also have the VoteCentral feature which enables users to vote on issues pertaining to the future of DeepOnion in a democratic-like setting. It’s quite uncertain if anyone had done this before. A digital currency like ETH owed its success to a strong community which is fully-focused on the end results from the beginning. Users who dumped when ETH was still in its infancy stage had the coins willingly picked up by others who believed more in its future. This is the beauty of a strong community which we also boast.

Fifthly, DeepOnion also provides great incentives to its users. One of such is the Domination Tasks which keep exploding by the day through massive participation. It is good to know that by just spreading the word about DeepOnion, members have an extra way to acquire Onions in addition to the airdrops and DeepPoints. This has kept the excitement at a high level as users keep making more Onions and the value continues rising. Till date, I’m yet to identify any scam coin that provides incentives as freely as this. Therefore, scam coins don’t give real incentives.

Lastly, a cryptocoin is as good as the development team behind it. This is an important yardstick that can help to unveil a scam coin. Instead of remaining inaccessible, our devs have been supportive all the way. They are not only accessible, but also competent with adequate knowledge of how the DeepOnion protocol operates. They have released new features according to the roadmap till date. One of these is the DeepVault feature which can be used to verify a file’s integrity. Time frames for the release of other amazing features such as DeepSend have also been set. It’s quite clear we will be having new e-commerce plugins to enable payments for goods with DeepOnion. According to the team, these plugins will run on Magento, WooCommerce, Prestashop, Oscommerce and Opencart platforms.

The icing on the cake is DeepOnion.shop which will begin accepting DeepOnion and other cryptocurrencies as payment options in the coming days. Free giveaways are also available via the online shop as well. One of our most respected members of the community known as TheMonkii also does plenty of giveaways on his weekly videos which you can see here. Therefore, considering all these, I’m unaware of any scammer that will go to this length just to rip unsuspecting people off. The management teams of scam coins are often clueless and incompetent.

Given all the telltale signs of a scam coin which our DeepOnion doesn’t come close to portraying, it could be quite confusing to still see a certain group of individuals tag us scams. As earlier hinted, this is a typical phase in the life cycle of a promising digital asset. It often occurs when there is a price surge making the currency more valuable. It’s just for a period and in our case, this persecution will surely pass. While most fuders are simply unaware that the cryptoworld is gearing towards anonymity and lightning speed transactions, some just feel threatened for reasons best known to them. They will soon be caught unawares by the heights we will soon attain.

Based on this, I don’t think I will support the dude who wanted the devices of fuders turned into giant Onions. They might just prepare a nice meal with the giant onions and grow fatter. Instead, I will prefer a bot which would suggest more avenues to get the fuds out to the whole world. I think we need that sort of publicity. We should expect more of these “publicity” in the days to come from the highly placed and influential ones in the cryptocurrency industry. Honestly, this is part of what is needed at this time. We should all see all news about DeepOnion as good news.

So guys, keep being positive and HODL. Let’s all work in silence and allow our results to do the talking. Together we will make wealth, together we will develop a formidable force made up of a closely knit community and together we will make our wallets bulge with Onions. Ignore the fuders!
