The DeepOnion Rave No. 2

Welcome back to my second installment of the DeepOnion Rave.

This time I’d like to address an issue where it seems to be that everyone is treated equally, yes many of you would think that this is a great thing since equality is always a strong point that is often sought after.

What if I told you that equality is not always fair. For example lets take the instance of the new VIP tasks where users receive 100 $ONIONS based on 10 tasks (at least those are the rumors). Guaranteed that there are those who will always do the bare minimum just to get by, this should not come as a shock to anyone. Then you have other users who go above and beyond where they go ahead and complete lets say ‘100 tasks’. Either completion of 10 tasks or 100 will pay out 100 $ONIONS. Now does that seem fair to someone who spends day in and day out providing content on behalf of DeepOnion (Time is money, and well you do the math..) as opposed to someone who would just put together a partial factual statement.

You may ask what do you mean by partial, see below..

On another hand there are the comments that are posted on behalf of such said tasks that still have an underlying issue. Although most of the information that is being spoken about and portrayed is partially true. What I mean is that we can come to terms that although the gist of the verbiage may be inline it doesn’t make it correct.

For example I’ve seen instances of comments where they say that DeepOnion is superior to XX coin because of the transaction speeds “62.5 tx/sec making it superior” although 62.5 tx/sec is true it doesn’t make it the fastest as there are others out there who can provide a higher rate. This is a very common misinterpretation of the facts that are shared. As much as you should know DeepOnion inside and out you should also look for facts on the competition as this will provide you with true knowledge that you can be adapted and applied to your response.

There is also something to think about what happens where a user is rebutted while sharing information on DeepOnion. I’ve seen numerous cases of where other users go and give their stance as to why they oppose DeepOnion and the communication dies down from the OP simply because the task was completed. This is where they’re WRONG, you’re never quite finished with the task. If someone replies to you, you should take the initiative of going back to the source and leading in a productive and constructive response otherwise it’s safe to say you only did the task partially. Granted that the user isn’t participating in FUD but rather in trying to get an honest response into whatever information you may have provided.

For the sake of not publicly shaming anyone you’d just have to go out on a limb here and look for those comments yourself..

Some would say why not create a guide that can be followed just like the Newcomers have.. well that would be scripted and we should hold those VIP members to higher standards as they are the ‘face’ of the project.
