Burundi is a sovereign nation, located in East Africa, where it is not possible to connect with the sea. It limits to the north with Rwanda, to the south with the Republic of the Congo. It has an approximate population of 10.5 million inhabitants and an area of 27,830 square kilometers. Its capital, is also considered the largest city in the nation called Bujumbura with 1,030,000 inhabitants
The economy of Burundi is devastated due to the lack of the coast which does not allow them to have any maritime resources such as fish, nor exports. In addition, the government is characterized by corruption. They do not have any access to education, and the proliferation of HIV / AIDS is very wide at the national level, it is worth mentioning that agriculture is the largest percentage of its production with the export of coffee by 93%, in addition to cotton, sugar , corn, sorghum, tea, sweet potatoes, bananas, among others. You can find various industries such as: public works, consumer goods such as: blankets, soap. Burundi has copper, platinum, cobalt and nickel as its natural minerals in its territory. It can be said that Burundi's economy depends on foreign aid for its subsistence
One of the biggest factors in this country is the lack of education of children, because it does not allow the development of youth at any level, 89% of its inhabitants belong to the rural sector and the rest to the urban sector. According to studies and statistics carried out by international health and nutrition organizations, 55.2% of children under 5 years of age suffer from chronic malnutrition.
What a great project it would be to help countries like this, that from any point of view a minimum collaboration can improve the quality of life of these people, in terms of the development of study centers for children and adolescents, and even adults who want to learn, construction of medical assistance centers, vaccines against diseases, reflexive talks about HIV / AIDS, contribution to the agricultural sector.
