Spanish goalkeeper David De Hea has asked for a nearly double increase in his weekly salary to 375,000 pounds to renew his contract with Manchester United. The 27-year-old guard is currently receiving 210,000 pounds a week at Old Trafford, and his contract expires in 18 months.
Interest in De Haea has been Real Madrid for quite some time, with Manchester United having put a price of at least £ 115m for his rights. Until recently, the financial claims of the Spaniard were smaller, but this has changed since Alexis Sanchez was drawn from Arsenal last month.
Sanchez is now the most expensive United footballer with a weekly salary of about £ 500,000 and De Hea wants to be second in this ranking.
