Core Team Details

Please limit responses to 500 characters for each team member.

Write short summaries about each core team member including their achievements to show they have a strong track record. Add links to their LinkedIn profiles to this section.

@Anyx is a Computer Engineering Ph.D. Candidate at the University of British Columbia, with research areas of High Performance Computing and Distributed Systems, Graph Processing, Machine Learning, and Blockchain technologies. He founded both @Cheetah and @Steemcleaners in 2016 as a means to address and reduce fraud and phishing.

When he's not maintaining Steemcleaners and Cheetah infrastructure servers, he is actively supporting the Steem ecosystem as a top witness. He presently runs a full public node and participates in key governance discussions and testing.

@Logic is passionate advocate of honesty and integrity. He is one of the longest-standing members of the Steemcleaners team and is methodical both in his application of the Scope and in his background work as the primary accountant and report producer. He can usually be found combing through mountains of reports.

While away from his computer, he is a semi-professional athlete by trade and can be usually seen running long distances and completing physical challenges. He is fluent in English and Polish with a working knowledge of Spanish which allows him to both understand and support users in multiple languages.

@Guiltyparties is a former developer and decentralised venture leader who joined the Steemcleaners team after personal initiatives to combat fraud while educating users. He has over 20 years experience in organisation and leadership, which he uses to liaise between the Steemcleaners family of projects and the Steem ecosystem.

Outside of the Steemcleaners, he is a witness, managing developer of the BROSGN family of gaming sites, interim board member of the Steem Foundation, and founder of DLine. He is also the current operator of the Spaminator project and is fluent in Russian.

@Pjau entered the Steemcleaners team after methodically proving his dedication to exposing plagiarism. Always a man of strong morals, he noticed a problem and decided to tackle it. He officially joined the Steemcleaners team in 2018 and has been a tremendous asset.

Pjau leverages his former years as a developer in support of the Steemcleaners and has developed several back-end applications, including the current Blacklist interface. He also operates a witness node which he regrettably recently disabled and is a regular contributor to the Irredeemables OS repository.

Minimum Viable Products

Please limit responses to 500 characters per product.

Provide links to your minimum viable products and describe it. If it is not available, please describe it and include how you plan to build it and when it will be built.

http://steemcleaners.com

The website is fully built and operational. It incorporates a large back-end that directly interacts with the Steem blockchain to allow for consistent commenting and reward-pool fund restoration.

Business Strategy

Please limit responses in this section to 250 characters per question.

  1. Fiat Revenue Strategy: [E.g. We plan to sell NFTs which represent in-game items for US Dollars]

This initiative is non-profit and does not generate a positive income for the purpose of returns.

  1. Fiat Revenue Projections in $/user every month: [E.g. $10/user]

N/A

  1. How will your business strategy increase the amount of STEEM being powered up and/or burnt?

Steemcleaners will scale with the ecosystem.

  1. What financial incentives are you willing to provide to Steemit, Inc. and/or the Steem Community in return for the delegation? i.e. What's your skin in the game? [E.g. project tokens, revenue-share, etc.] (Without a return there's not a partnership, it's simply a contribution, and one that's easily left behind. In order to encourage businesses and communities to commit to the Steem blockchain and ecosystem long term there needs to be both a contract and a mutually beneficial partnership.)

We will continue to provide cost-saving measures in our identification of fraud and malicious actors as well as the restoration of the communal reward pool. Through our detection and mitigation of fraud not limited to plagiarism and identity theft we help keep both Steemit, Inc. and the Steem ecosystem resilient against potential reputation loss and legal consequences.

  1. Are you or how will you become financially sustainable once the delegation is removed?

We will seek alternative delegation sources.

Steemcleaners protects the Steem ecosystem by detecting, reacting to and deterring fraudulent activity and related forms of abuse while returning funds to the communal reward pool. It is the longest-running anti-abuse project and follows a strict scope and process methodology, offering additional support through a reporting and an appeal process as well as regular community liaison.

Myriad users learn how to avoid plagiarism and post successfully due to Steemcleaners. Since all users are treated objectively, an individual who received a Steemcleaners downvote one week may have her account saved from a hacker the week after. For many new users and external businesses, a chance meeting with the Steemcleaners team is a key gateway to learning about the Steem blockchain and ecosystem.

The Steemcleaners team also holds and processes the master database of all user verifications (1415 of them) and, unfortunately, cases of identity theft on the Steem blockchain. Through our efforts we have been able to detect and respond to numerous identity theft attempts, often to the applaud of the unknowing victims.

We as a team are committed to continuing to ensure the resilience of the Steem blockchain and the Steem ecosystem against all manner of fraud and malicious exploitation.

  1. Describe your project roadmap with expected timelines and milestones.

2019 - Q4
While continuing to provide our regular services we will also focus on re-evaluating our scope in conjunction with a new round of community input (via questionnaires). This is to ensure we are optimised and prepared to assist Tribes and Communities in the best way possible and to adapt to the shifting Steem landscape.

Our scope documentation will be made public though GitHub in order to leverage a transparent and accessible mode of community input.

One of the most profitable projects on the Steem blockchain.

I hope you guys get a big delegation this time. After recent hardforks I see the downvoting power seems to have drained too quickly while handling a lot of abuse🙂
Furthermore, what you guys have done trying to mitigate the effects of abuse ensuring the proper utilization of community rewards pool and sustainable growth of the community is extraordinary. Going through a lot of reports and interacting with users in discord must be quite a lot of difficult task for you guys. Is it possible that after DP drops to 0, VP can be used to downvote the post? Just curious🤔

Hello steemcleaners, I noticed you downvoted my post on Myths About Cats yesterday. Now if you check my account, you will see that i just joined steemit barely a month and i am still trying to understand how things work here. Within the time space of my joining, i have introduced steemit to over 100 people and still counting. I started on 25 like everyone and i grew my reputation to 40. I use original contents without plagiarism but i get my pictures from free picture sites. I don't infringe on copyright issues. Now what i dont understand is what was wrong with my article that made it attract a downvote from you? I really want to know. This action took my account from a reputation of 40 to 12 and I am very discouraged. The time as i write here is 4:25am, this happened last night and it has given me a sleepless night. I have not even told the people i introduced to this platform but they will soon find out and wonder what happened to my account. This is very discouraging especially when you don't seem to know what you did wrong. I currently don't even have the zeal to write another post because getting to 40 from 25 was not easy. I currently told my many friends that i was going to give the first person who gets to a reputation of 45 before september 15 a gift just to encourage them to keep up the fire burning. These are people who write original contents just like me. What was the offense in my post about Myths about cats? Maybe if you tell me what i did wrong, i may understand why this happened? I am sad!
