On Wednesday (11/4/2018) Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, will testify before the United States Energy and Commerce Commission related to theft of personal data users.
On the same day, the campaign titled "Faceblock" invites users to boycott Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp for 24 hours. The campaign was orchestrated by collective netizens in Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Malta, Mexico, Britain and the United States.
They judge the Cambridge Analytica scandal showing the fragility of data security and democracy in the digital age. Of the cases, as many as 87 million personal data of global Facebook users were stolen and abused.
