As Bitcoin's value continues to rise, criptomon mining has grown into a vibrant economy. According to a recent article from the online technology and publishing store, where consumers come first (Wccftech), the global supply of graphics processing units (GPUs) are running out these days and are worth three times the original value in most of the cases.

Back in the early days throughout 2010 to 2013 graphics cards were a hotly demanded or hot item when it comes to bitcoin mining accessories. During that time, many manufacturers and suppliers ran out of stock for AMD series graphics cards, Nvidia and other types of GPUs. Since then, within the current bitcoin mining environment, most miners have turned to using ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) machines that process at much faster speeds than retail graphics cards.

However, Wccftech and other graphics card retailers are now seeing a "massive resurgence" of cryptomonet space GPU sales due to the popularity of alternative mining networks such as Zcash and Ethereum.

Wccftech notes that the AMD and Nvidia series cards are really hard to come by these days as they have not seen this kind of demand in years. The report explains that during those first years certain regions of the world had shortage of GPU that lasted certain months. Currently, GPU mining has seen a rebirth and Wccftech says these parts are also growing and are valuable.

"AMD GPUs are coming off the shelves and depleted in a dozen countries," explains the Wccftech website.

The mining craze not only affected US retailers, but the phenomenon has become global. GPUs of the RX 500 series are sold worldwide. Almost all retailers in North America and Europe are out of stock. Even retailers that have RX 500 series in stock only have a handful of units at their disposal.

Research into this online phenomenon shows similar data in the search for GPUs with a search engine. Many other retailers have very little GPU action or are completely exhausted. Other online stores like eBay are selling graphics cards for a bonus, and there is significant demand there as well.

The technology publication Tom's Hardware also reveals that some consumers are annoyed by the lack of availability of the GPU in the market. In a post called "Rx570 ran out, thank you, Bitminers", an individual trying to make their own computer can not get the graphics cards.

"When I was ordering components for my new Ryzen 1700 construction, I learned that the RX570 / 580 is sold out everywhere in Germany and will not be replenished before July / August," explains the author.

People who responded to the detailed post "are sold everywhere" and "AMD cards have a better hashrate making them a better card for mining."

As GPU accessories are becoming difficult to maintain in stock, the ASIC mining equipment is also a very hot requested product this year. There are only a small number of ASIC manufacturers around the world including companies like Bitmain, Creative Canaan (Avalon), and Bitfury. Sometimes some of the mining products of these companies have also been out of stock or have had significant waiting periods imposed on the shipping dates.

In addition to Bitcoin 's mining, Ethereum's mining and many other altcoin mining revenues are higher than ever, making the work very lucrative for the participants.
