Court argued over prosecution Joris Demmink

The Court of Appeal in Arnhem will call tomorrow's intention of the Public Prosecutor (OM) to refrain from prosecuting former chief security officer Joris Demmink. According to the OM, no evidence has been found for sexual abuse of minors. It is up to the Court to decide whether the case will end permanently.

Former Justice Prosecutor Joris Demmink has been publicly fired by rumors and suspicions of sexual abuse of underage boys for fifteen years. There are two reports of Turkish men claiming to be abused by Demmink in the nineties in Turkey. The OM has always said no evidence of criminal acts.

The case against the former topman appeared to be too stranded until the Court ruled in Den Bosch in 2014 that a criminal investigation had yet to be launched. According to the OM, there was ZERO CONFIRMATIONS of the allegations made in Turkey in the investigation into the abuse in Turkey. Justice even speaks of :
"no burden of material for Demmink's involvement in the alleged rapes."
The OM indicates that the Turkish authorities do not want to cooperate in the investigation.

Remarkable
The most important finding in the investigation is that Demmink has been in '1995 for several years' in 1996, 1997 and 1997' in Turkey. This is important because the alleged abuse during that period would have taken longer than one day. Strikingly enough, Demmink himself has always said that:
"He had not been in Turkey during that period of consciousness."

The OM will ask the Court in Arnhem tomorrow to let the case rest. WHY?
The lawyer of the Turkish men, Adèle van der Plas, will ask the Court, in turn, to investigate the matter better. She argues that THERE IS ENOUGH evidence against Demmink.

Although it has urgently requested that the case be discussed in public tomorrow, the Court decided to hold the session behind closed doors. The law does not allow publicity of this procedure according to the Court.
