According to the Kamala stans, the strategy for making the Democrats better on immigration is to repeatedly reward them for adopting the utterly nativist framing that immigration is per se a bad thing.
And somehow, through mechanisms they never lower themselves to explain to us, if they just keep regurgitating this anti-immigrant invective long enough, things will get better.
