Lovely. Harris leads the district by 5 points. And Vargas leads incumbent representative Bacon.

There is a very realistic electoral path that requires the district's single electoral vote. Polling and fundamentals suggest Harris should win it, but it is good to get more confirmation.

In the Senate race, Democrats chose not to run a candidate. Instead they are supporting the independent candidate Dan Osborn, a former Democrat. He is only down one point in the statewide poll.

Also of interest, they polled the two competing abortion ballot initiatives. Nebraska will have a ballot initiative to protect abortion rights up to fetal viability. And another to ban abortion after the first trimester. Under state law, the measure that gets the most votes will supersede the other where they conflict as determined by the governor. Right now both look like they will pass, but the abortion ban has more support.

And the medical marijuana legalization and paid sick leave measures have overwhelming support.
