There are about 600,000 astroids in orbit near planet Earth. Asteroids are sensitive to mining with different types of resources, from iron and nickel to gold, iridium, silver, osmium, palladium and platinum. It has been estimated that one of the most immediate asteroids, the 16th Psyche, has a value of about $10 billion in iron ore deposits. NASA has established that there are about $700 in mineral resources on the asteroids and is making projects to make them minable.
