Demography is destiny

Those who want us to tolerate the freedom-eradication cult are unaware of one essential consequence of their position. They do not know the one thing that the Cult knows. The Cult knows that demography is destiny. Those who have babies win. The childless lose. If your country doesn’t renew itself, in just a couple of decades it becomes someone else’s country. Now for a short while you are the masters and this is your home. Soon, those who had babies will be the masters, and you will no longer have any home. The cult only has to wait until its numbers grow and then a tipping point is reached. They don't have to be a majority at some far distant point. They just become large enough to hold a balance of power and after that everything goes their way. Our fate rushes away from us.

Demography is destiny: our women may or may not have children, as they wish. And for four decades they have decided that they have more important things to do. They have not had children at replacement rate. As a result the population of the British themselves is dropping. The total numbers of the British themselves are not sinking yet. The average age of the British themselves is rising so a growing proportion of British people are now beyond the age of reproduction. The number of British are reproductive age is sinking. Of course this would not matter if we were content to let our population adjust downwards. But every employer and government institution has responded to the real or imagined labour shortage by employing people from abroad and encouraging people from other countries to come here. This would not matter perhaps if the British had been discriminating about those it allowed in. But we were not. We invited everybody from the poorest and more violent parts of the world, not imagining that people are culture-carrying, and never asking whether with these people we were also importing the culture that made those countries poor and violent and kept them so. When they first came in small numbers they were almost grateful and willing to join in. But there is some unnoticed tipping point, after which gratitude and assimilation cease, and resentment and loathing start.
