There are a lot of scary movies out there. Some of them may impress you a lot, they can even stick with you in your nightmares so you'll always remember them and recommend to your friends. Some of them might seem boring or not scary at all. But there are the ones that have a particular figure in them, it can be a man, a woman, a pale child, a demon, a monster you SHOULD recognize and they are ALWAYS remembered by the audience and Horror Fans of course. So here is a list of the most chillingly terrifying figures of different Horror movies of all times!

Michael Myers (Halloween)
"Death has come to your little town, sheriff."
Michael Myers is a fictional character from the Halloween series of slasher films. He first appears in John Carpenter's Halloween (1978) as a young boy who murders his sister and then, fifteen years later, returns home to Haddonfield to murder more teenagers. Michael seems to like playing games on his victims by sadistically stalking and terrifying them before brutally killing them. The original Michael Myers has killed at least 81 people, and his remake has killed 46.
Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street)
"Whatever you do... don't fall asleep."
Freddy Krueger first appeared in the Wes Craven's Horror masterpiece A Nightmare on Elm Street in 1984. Freddy Krueger is a spirit of a burnt serial killer who uses a gloved hand with razors to kill his victims in their dreams, causing their deaths in the real world as well. In the dream world, he is a powerful force and almost completely invulnerable.
Pennywise (It)
"They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too."
It is the title character in the American author, Stephen King's 1986 horror novel It. It is using a variety of powers that include the ability to shapeshift, manipulate, and go unnoticed by adults. During the course of the story, it primarily appears in the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre)
"That's the last goddamn hitchhiker I ever pick up."
Leatherface is a main character in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series of horror films. He wears masks made of human skin and engages in murder and cannibalism, alongside his insane family.
Ghostface (Scream)
"Movies don't create psychos. Movies make psychos more creative!"
And here is this iconic mask that everyone knows!
Ghostface is a fictional identity adopted by several characters of the Scream series. Anyone who sees the blacks of Ghostface's eyes, typically ends up with a butcher knife in their guts.
Sadako Yamamura (Ring)
"It's not of this world. It's Sadako's fury. And she's put a curse on us."
Sadako Yamamura appeared in the 1998 Japanese Film Ring, which was based on the novel Ring by Kôji Suzuki. Sadako's fictional history alternates between continuities, but all depict her as the vengeful ghost of a psychic who was murdered and thrown into a well. As a ghost, she uses nensha, her most distinctive power and weapon, to create a cursed video tape that will kill whoever watches it exactly one week later unless the tape is copied and shown to another person, who then must repeat the same process.
Toshio (Juon)
"When someone dies in the grip of a powerful rage... a curse is born. The curse gathers in that place of death. Those who encounter it will be consumed by its fury."
Toshio appears in The Grudge series which was based on the Japanese film Ju-on. Toshio haunts his victims, frightening them with his black eyes and horrible screams.
Jigsaw (Saw)
"Congratulations. You are still alive. Most people are so ungrateful to be alive. But not you. Not anymore."
The Jigsaw Killer first appeared in the film Saw in 2004. Using twisted tests and gruesome games, Jigsaw puts his victims through unique forms of torture that lead to death if a person fails to complete their challenge.
Mary Shaw (Dead silence)
"Beware the stare of Mary Shaw. She had no children, only dolls. If you see her in your dreams, be sure you never, ever scream or she'll rip your tongue out at the seam."
Mary Shaw is a fictional ghost and the central antagonist from the 2007 ghost movie Dead Silence. She was buried with her doll collection.
