Steem is becoming my favorite | After dentist

I've been here a couple days and the insincerity is the first thing that stood out. There are people who share thoughtful comments and you can tell they're just trying to get a vote, but at least they put some time and effort into what they're saying.

The group that bugs me are basically e-beggars with lazy, low-effort "thank you for posting"-type content. It's like chicks fishing for compliments and attention on Insta, but instead of putting SOME work into a cute photo they just snap a pic of themselves laying in bed, messed up hair and face pushed back showing off the double chin.

And then there are people like you, who give long drawn out and witty comments to get their votes lol. Well played sir!!!

Quick, cheese it!

Thank you for that post. lol

and then there are people like you who cracked me the fuck up when i read this comment and get an upvote lol

Couldn't have said it better myself bro! Like just be genuine, say what you have to say and keep it moving.

yeah man i totally agree with you when people do comments on any post rather than getting upvote its like making relation with the community which you don't know.an upvote is just formality for it but you are building the relationship with the members on steemit.

thanks for pos-UH I mean - I agree. It's a natural by product of the platform of Steem, but the level of obviousness when it's basically begging is just pointless - there can be times for a simple and clean answer, but I don't think people will realize they will make more if they put in real and genuine effort.

you are smart.

Lol thanks @arunkumsarsrm

Definitely, sure, but maybe people are more motivated to be nice. Maybe people are motivated to speak at all when they usually just lurk, and they're actually nice at heart. Who knows.. When I saw how nice the community was I thought yea it's pretty fake, but then I thought about how most people actually don't comment. This is like their first time contributing.
