A new study says that if sleep is less than eight hours, depression and anxiety increase, negative thoughts continue to rot in the mind.
US researchers studied the sleeping period, and if the amount of sleep was less then negative thoughts repeatedly screwed people's mind. As a result, depression and anxiety are created.
Headwind thinking affects good sleep. But through this research, it was found that, if lack of good sleep, negative thoughts in daily life increased more sharply.
Researchers display different pictures aiming at participants' emotional reactions. Their eye movements are monitored.
It is seen, those who sleep less and sleep late, their eyes are more attracted towards negative images.
Research author Meridith Kolls said that the general public looked at negative information and went easily to another photo. But less sleepy people do not remove eyes from negative images.
As a result of the study, it is understood that sleep disturbed after the breakdown of knowledge is reduced.
If there is indifference and negative thoughts on the mind, then there may be mental illness such as depression and anxiety over a period of time.
Research has been published in the Journal of Behavior Therapy and Experimental Psychiatric.
