That looks like my brother's dog. Awesome picture

Thanks a lot, Wes! I like German Shepherd.. but I love all dogs :))

Awesome theme :) Here is my entry. It is the Australian red-claw crayfish :) His name is Claude and he is about 25 cm (10 in) long.

LOL, that is awesome. I have never seen a pet crawfish before. Sweet colors.

Lovely! I remember I once told Lil that I felt sorry for him as his fellows are commonly eaten by us in Australia ;)

I remember that! Cant imagine someone would do that to Claude :( Crayfish are awesome, they are so much fun to watch and care for :)

A friend of mine is a great lover of snakes - here is a shot I took of his Python for my amateur tier entry x x x

Pro - This is our beautiful cat Ponyo. Since day one she has ruled the household and acted like she owns the place. We only get to give her attention on her terms and she love the camera! I got this photograph of her nesting on a laptop case with her favourite gold fur cone - what else did you expect?!

LOL, that is so awesome. My laptop case is covered in fur because that is my cat's favorite place to hangout as well. Your cat looks like a queen holding her gold fur cone. Those green eyes are sweet.

Hahaha that's funny! Yes she definitely it a Queen that's for sure!

She looks like a calico we had a few years ago - her name was Winnie and she had 6 toes on each of her front paws - a polydactyl cat. And she was a Princess. If we touched her when she wasn't in the mood....she'd duck her head and make a noise like "doooonnn't"

Lots of fur on Ponyo, lots of brushing, lots of pampering her majesty .... I can tell :)

Awww Winnie sounds cute! Oh yes Ponyo is definitely a pampered cat! She sleeps most of the day and only graces us with her presence when she wants to! Definitely doesn't allow any strangers to touch her precious fur either!

So beautiful 😻 She has such stunning green eyes and lovely fur ❤

Aww thank you, I'm sure she would love to hear that!!

Absolutely gorgeous. These green eyes will hypnotize you.

Yes, and they do hahaha!

Someone kept it as a pet in northern Bali, Indonesia. I was a bit scared standing close to shoot this strangely beautiful creature:

T

aww That face :D so cute boy!

This is such a cool shot.

Hi there.

I was taking some family pictures and they brought out their Sheltie puppies to include in a couple pictures. They were so adorable and when it was time to put them back in their pen the owner stuck them all in this laundry basket to be transported in.

A basket full of puppies. Awesome!

This is Lily! I'm placing myself in the Amateur category.

Lily looks like a white version of one of my parent's dogs. Great shot!

Thanks! She's a little diva, spoiled rotten.

Well, being a pet is not always an easy job!
What I can see on this pic are 4 family members, 3 of them enjoying their time and 4th one thinking something like "Ohh, again?? You've done some pictures of me yesterday guys, c'mon!"

Our doggie Baska always looved to play with kids, but sometimes it was just too much even for her. But as brave as she was, she never let those kids know that after 2 hours, they're slowly becoming just pain in the ass :D Although on this picture, it's pretty apparent :D

..on the other side, have we left her alone for 2-3 hours and she always came back with a toy in mouth to get some attention again :D

blr 2011-2012 014.JPG

Your pictures of Baska are always so awesome. She looked like such a great part of your family.

Hi there and happy Caturday! :) I am entering the Beginner tier. This is my cat, Mufasa. :) I think this picture purrrfectly captures how happy he was after I returned this week from a week-long vacation. He just flopped down on my bed and looked so relaxed and happy, I just wanted to snuggle him right away! Bonus: he's one of those rare cats that let you pet his belly. :) I also shared this photo in my own post here. Hope this picture brings a smile to your face. :)

This looks like one of my old childhood cats named Niko. I remember one time we went snorkeling and came back and found him alseep in a bag of cat food.

Oh my gosh, that is so cute!! Sleeping in a bag of cat food sounds like a cat's dream, lol.

Meow! This is me @sirgatodaniel inside my favorite box, for this picture I was playing with my human. It was a very fun moment because it was hidden in the box and when I went out to look outside was my human with his camera waiting. =^-^=

So cute. What kind of a dog is it?

Well, we know she has Rhodesian ridgeback in her, maybe some staffy, but not sure of other mixes.

Thank you @countrygirl! It was indeed hard but he had a great life.

Greetings friends of #derangedphotography Here I leave my entry. I hope you like them

beginner tier

This is a tongue named Magic... I mean my dog named Magic!

But look at that tongue! That's a dangerous object there, prone to lick you in your mouth when you think you're a safe distance away.

Honestly, today I probably wouldn't even mind. I just got her back yesterday after being away a month, finding us a new home in a different state. Never want to be apart from her again. But really, can you believe such a small dog has such a long tongue?

IMG_0355.JPG

(Definitely beginner category)

lol. My Yellow Lab knows how to time it perfectly to get you with his tongue when you think you can lean in and get away before he can lick your face.

Corn Snake (Pantherophis guttatus)

My beautiful orange snake with his tounge out, sensing the envoierment. He loves to peek out of his wiping paper core.

Snakes are such awesome pets. We had one for years. Great shot.

I think so too, thank you ☺

This is my crabby cat Thomas. He's 12 years old now and starting to look and act like his age. He was sitting at the top of our stairs this afternoon in front of an old wooden framed mirror. The light was just right and I had to get a few pictures of him. He yelled at me a couple of times but I managed to ignore his protests and capture a couple.

DSC_1861.jpg

I don't know what category to put myself in as I have never labelled me before. I'm not sure what the difference is between beginner and amateur. I'm not a pro that is for sure. Maybe you can help me out with it.

There really is no defining factor. It is all really based on how much experience you think you have and what type of equipment you use. I will put you in beginner for now and if you want to go up, then let me know. Your cat looks like one of my old cats. It brings back memories.

okay....that's probably fine. Labels are always a tough thing for me.

Its my entry, beginner
