Nothing can break the soul bond between Twin Flames

What is actually is making different between a simple snapshot and a true photography? Especially in the case of people photography (it can be just street, either portraits, etc) it is story telling. And this is in fact much more difficult to get such a result when the viewer can see true story in your photo - compositional, emotional, whatever...

This is one of my really best of recent photo where you can see the story and connection of those beautiful twins. Hands position, slight touches, emotions - everything is bringing us into the inner world of twins, showing their true and unbreakable connection between each other.
And combined with a very soft look of manual focus vintage lens with stunning bokeh (also adding certain impact to the story)

Enjoy the double beauty!

Great shot @axeman. I love the bokeh on this lens.

Thanks, mate! Yeah, as mentioned this bokeh made the trick...

This shot is amazing. Very well done!

This is cleeeeean! :) Awesome shot. Post processed or in-camera look?

Thanks mate. Post processed. If you follow the link to my post you can see the original colour shot.

i have a love/hate relationship with portraits. do love candids but most of the time they are great for the person in the photo but not spectacular for the fotocommunity. This one is from a photo marathon in Jasa Tomic.

My Love, My Wife, Mother of my kids
She is my love, she is 4 years old younger than me. We got married last year, and now, we have a daughter. Although there are many harder things waiting for us in the future. But I hope we still love together forever.
Best,

This is a photo of me taken on a night out in Palma de Mallorca with my Fujifilm camera. I am entering as an amateur. Thanks for the cool contest

Here the pic of my flatmate Ignacio. We call him Nacho, he's 26 and studies translation German <-> Spanish. I love the guy. He's all about fighting consumism, has just severar clothes pieces and actually washes them manually with hands :D On the pic he's sipping his beloved favorite hot drink - Yerba Mate.

When I was on my trip shooting for the book last month, we had a lady from Argentina with us. She was always drinking Mate. I recognize that straw, lol!

Great shot.

Hahh yepp, it's called bombilla. He got me one and I tried to replace my coffee habit with mate as it also has coffein in it...ended up drinking same amount of coffee + mate on top of it now :DD

My first entry to #derangedphotography :) Auto timer it like a pro! :D 2017 Selfie, Halloween in Japan, framing by eye using Sony a6500 without a flip out screen!

Nice shot, but I am bumping you up to amateur.

Wow, these are some really nice portrait pictures! Will definitely participate in one of your upcoming contests! Thanks!

Well, I said I was going to start submitting to your contests, and what better way to start than with the category I'm least comfortable with - people portraits? I've only taken a handful of portraits that I really liked, but here's one of them, of a woman some of us here will recognize.

I guess I'm in the Pro tier, even though I'm not a portrait pro.

Awesome black and white. Great shot.

Thanks, Wes!

beautiful smile!

We realized that we don't have many random people portraits. Seem like we rather take animal portraits more than people haha

We'll try to change that and start shooting random street photography more often.

Here's a little fisherboy from the Venezuelan Andes. He was too shy when he saw I was shooting him so I went a little farther to catch this good one.

PS: We'll make a post with more pictures from that moment and edit this comment to add the link 😁

I am a beginner! What a cool contest! There is an amateur working toward professional in my family, will inform her about this :p

Description: Kids make the best faces. I feel like there is some accidental symbolism in this picture, probably revolving around soda drinking.

Great shot. Kids do make some priceless faces. I am looking forward to seeing what other entries come out of your family. Welcome to the contest.

This photo is taken during a trip to the Bolivar State, in the city of San Felix; where a river overflowed and flooded a town in that region, completely flooding and the access that there was to reach that town, which is a road, still the one who knows the road can get to a certain point of the road and enjoy of a landscape, and to bathe for a while the cars arrive, until some distance above the level of the water where the road or road leading to the town is, I hope you enjoy this photograph.

amateur level.

lol, this is amazing! Such a great picture!

Does this count as a portrait? If not, I'll submit a more composed one. :)

An emotional utterly ˋraw´ self-portrait that will not be considered ˋconventionally beautiful´ by many —
for me it is so much -MORE- than that as it is a perfect representation of my intense most vital struggle to withstand the blazing emotional abuse of my youth and life... hanging on to my own ˋmagic power and spirit´ like a willful little reptile indeed :)

I took this photo of Alexa while we were exploring an abandoned estate in Portland, Oregon. The light was harsh but we found this darker area next to the hot tub that resulted in the photo you see below.
