My Entry for #DerangedPhotography Perfect Portrait Contest

PicsArt_05-12-05.54.58.jpg

I wanted to push really hard and look for that classic portrait to post, as I went through my archive I just saw this particular photo of my friend and brother (Praise) and I just knew it was the one for the pick.

It was on a cool evening the next day would be his birthday I need to just steal a picture of him as he doesn't have much photos.
It was getting really dark and I hated using the in-built camera flash because of the harshness and besides I was trying to keep a low profile, remember I was trying to steal a quick shot

I pumped up my ISO to 6400 on a Canon 1200D (what was I even thinking 😔), brought down my Shutter Speed to 1/100 and just left the Aperture at Default (Haven't fully learnt how to apply / use aperture to expose an image properly )
So I had to pay for it with the grains everywhere.

It really didnt look all that 'perfect' to me at first up until I found it now and it's suddenly looking different.
Long story cut short this is my Perfect Portrait.
I had to resize the photo for upload using picsart, been struggling to uploading this image since morning
