Lately I have been researching more on product design and the various possibilities related with it. I have been following some designers as I love their concepts and gain inspiration from them. I will talk about one such designer Duncan Meerding.

Based in Tasmania, Duncan is a furniture and a lighting designer. What I love in his designs is the concern given to the environment. That has been one of the most interesting things about him that while one would think of throwing away a wood piece, he uses the same piece & converts it into a unique product! He works is connected with nature and gains inspiration from it. You can check out his work, here.

This particular piece was made from reclaimed timber. This is a an award winning design in the Cracked Log range. This is one of my personal favourites because look how beautiful!
