I am not much into fashion, so I wouldn't care less about carrying a designer bag or not. But, somehow, some people still feel as if they need to have the coolest clothes and the most expensive brands in order to be worth something. Well, I guess we are children of our age and of social media, of filters making us look prettier, and so much more.
But, forget about it - true value lies on the inside, and if you are satisfied and happy on your inside, it can be seen on the outside, and you will have value and true followers.
Those who follow you because you carry an expensive bag are the ones who will stop following you in the moment you start to show your true self. Gather real friends around you, as they are way more worth than those following you because of what you carry or the clothes that you wear.
Don't forget about the parable in the Bible in which the boy left his father only to "live life", to party, and to have fun. He spent all his money and had great friends, but once the money was used, the so-called friends left him and he was all by himself. Don't do the same mistake! :)
Be cool, but don't trust your clothes to give you that look!
