When my buddy @bennierex asked me to design the page for @blockbrothers in anticipation of launching the beta through the appstore, I already knew I could do this.

I am no webdesigner by any stretch of the imagination, but there are so many templates readily available that I was sure I would find one that would fit our needs. All I need is some basics skills in reading HTML & CSS in order to know what to change (which I have because I DID actually at one time learn to code with HTML & CSS properly)

For our needs, I took a template and needed to change colors (to fit our app colors) switch out font-awesome icons with others more suited to what I wanted to convey in the message, change some roll-over color behaviours for buttons. Nothing big, but very necessary.

With that knowledge I managed to make this :

Yes, I totally used a bootstrap theme to make the webpage. I am no webdesigner where I code unlimited lines. Especially when someone else build a framework that I can use that is much better than anything I could build.

Bootstrap is awesome, and so is font-awesome ! Because of pre-fab components like these, I can focus on actual design, without having to build and code an entire website with accompanying icons and such.

The website will launch soon together with the beta app of Steemify !
