Designed by the local studio Malan Vorster, this haven of peace in the middle of the woods is located in Cape Town, South Africa. The structure consists of four cylindrical wooden towers on stilts, each with large windows allowing residents to have a magnificent view of the surrounding forest.
The architects realized the residence for a client who wanted a hidden dwelling, sheltered from noise and looks and which would resemble a hut of his childhood. Inside, contemporary furniture fills the spaces, creating a comfortable home. The living room occupies the first floor of the house, with a patio, an alcove and the staircase. A master bedroom with a glass balustrade is located on the second floor. The architects have left all the materials untreated with the intention that they skate naturally over time.
