Indian weddings are a great opportunity for an entire family to connect with each other and welcome new members into the same. The fun & frolic at such a wedding is simply unbeatable! The grandeur may vary from simple to lavish, but the desire to dress to kill stays constant.

While nighttime wedding celebrations have a charm of their own, daytime ceremonies in India are becoming more popular. Glitzy wedding outfits and jewellery pave way for pastel colours that blend in with the day or colours that stand out in contrast. People flock to the nearest designer clothes sale to pick up the best among the blend of Indian and Western wear that is high on comfort as well as style.

We have listed some of the best looks this season for a Daytime Indian Wedding right here:

Traditional Indian Saree:

Highly recommended if you are attending a South Indian wedding which is usually a simple fare. Plain or two-toned printed sarees with border work look elegant and blend well with the theme as well. This can be arranged for by looking for a stunning pre stitched saree online. A creation like Sabyasachi’s below can be paired with golden jhumkis and subtle eye make-up. Add a hint of a blush and pair it with a golden clutch to complete the look.

Sweeping Embroidered Gowns

Sunny beach weddings are a hit in India. Floor length gowns with jackets like this Anita Dongre design can help make a sweeping statement at an extremely scenic wedding. Hues of peach, pink, lilac, sea blue look the most elegant against the sea backdrop. Pearl drop earrings are what you need to complete the look.

Velvet Anarkali

Anarkali suits are without a doubt among the most popular forms of wedding wear for women, especially among North Indians. More commonly seen during winters are the variants in velvet and chanderi, like Varun Bahl’s creation in black and green below. It is best suited for an outdoor wedding, and you may amp the style quotient with a patterned woolen shawl.
