Today, in TWAB, Bungie revealed the release date for Destiny 2’s Raid and Trials. We did already know, that Raid in Destiny 2 is called ‘The Leviathan’ and Trials will be called Trials of the Nine (not confirmed). But there was a weapons showed in Gamescom gameplay that had a Trial logo on it. There was a possible theory that ‘The Leviathan’ is a Giant Catfish shown in one of the Concept-Arts released during the Beta.
Destiny 2 will be releasing September 6, 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC players will get their hands on the game on October 24, 2017. Destiny 2’s first expansion also got revealed yesterday. Click here for more information.
Here’s what Bungie wrote in This Week at Bungie:
“After launch, there will be a few rituals and firsts that you might want to plan for as you ascend to orbit around the Destiny Endgame. Some of these activities will be ready and waiting as soon as you play your way through to them. Others will go live shortly thereafter, giving you and your teammates time to prepare to get geared up and ready to go.
Here are a few of the dates you should mark in your calendar.
Nightfall: Ready when you are
Raid: 10 AM PT, September 13
Trials: 10 AM PT, September 15″
Guided Games is a feature that lets you help those players who don’t have a fireteam to play with. Destiny 2 will have a Guided Games Beta for Nightfall and Raid. Below are the dates mentioned in the blog post on Bungie’s website:
“Nightfall Guided Games Beta: September 12th, 10AM. 30-50% of players will be given seeker access, depending on clan participation in Destiny 2 during the first week. Nightfall and Raid Guided Games: September 26th, 10AM. Target: 100% of players will be given seeker access.”
In Destiny 2, you don’t need to equip highest Light Level gear when you’re about to decypt your engrams. Mark Noseworthy said:
In D2 it’s no longer advantageous to equip your most powerful gear when decrypting Engrams. We check for your best possible loadout now
