Musik: meine elektronische Interpretation von Satie's Klavierstück "Gymnopédie (No.1 +2)"

in deutsch •  7 years ago

JD 800! Have you tried tuning to 432Hz?

At the time, I didn't know about this 432hz thing. It was end of the 90s when I made this. After that, I stopped making music for some time. In the past few years, I did a little bit but using samples on the PC, not external hardware synths.
I sold most of the stuff, but the JD 800 I still own. Its just a awsome sounding synth, and it was very expensive, 6000DM or so. Which would be 6000 Euro basically today.
So I could give this 432hz thing a try. But I listened to some music of that kind, and for me it just sounds a bit weird. No "wow" effect, if you know what I mean. But, never say never... if I find some time besides Steemit, I might try it. :)

Wauw that's a lot. Yes I started playing again when I found out that it sounds actually right: the way it is supposed to sound.

Yes I know, sounds pretty normal until you swith to '440 music'.

Yeah, a little weird, as I said. Perhaps because I heard this about a million times, someone else would not even notice the difference.
If thats the way its supposed to be, I dont know. We would have to ask Satie - but that could be difficult. :)

If you like it than that's all there is to it no? :)
