For the second part our Australia Zoo report I will show you many more animals. Some of them you don´t want to meet in the wild but others you would love to meet.
Für den zweiten Teil unseres Australia Zoo Reports zeige ich Ihnen viele weitere Tiere. Einige davon möchten Sie nicht in freier Wildbahn treffen, andere dagegen würden Sie gerne treffen.
Reptiles
There are thousands of different reptiles in australia. Most of them are snakes, crocs and all kind of other lizards. Australia is home to some of the most venomous snakes in the world, but if you stick to some important rules you won´t get bitten.
I myself have not seen a total of 10 snakes in the wild, while I see smaller and larger lizards almost every day. Especially these small water dragons are pretty common.
Es gibt Tausende von verschiedenen Reptilien in Australien. Die meisten von ihnen sind Schlangen, Krokodile und andere Arten von Eidechsen. In Australien gibt es einige der giftigsten Schlangen der Welt, aber wenn man sich an ein paar wichtige Regeln hält, wird man auch nicht gebissen.
Ich selbst hab insgesamt noch keine 10 Schlangen in der Wildnis gesehen, während ich kleinere und auch größere Echsen fast täglich sehe. Besonders diese kleinen Wasserdrachen sind ziemlich häufig.
Birds
Unfortunately I wasn´t able to capture some of the most common birds of Australia like the Cockatoo for example. But we saw some other beautiful birds, some of them I´ve never seen before. But we have seen some other beautiful birds, some of which I have never seen, such as the ** Brolga** or the Black-necked Stork.
Leider gelang es mir nicht, einige der am häufigsten vorkommenden Vögel Australiens wie den Kakadu zu fotografieren. Aber wir haben einige andere schöne Vögel gesehen, einige davon habe ich noch nie gesehen, wie den Brolgakranich oder den Riesenstorch.
Bindi´s Island
Since 2014 there is an Island in the Zoo. It´s the island of Steve Irwins daughter Bindi. There is three story treehouse built and the island and cheeky ring-tailed lemurs running around free. There is also macaws and two Giant Aldabran Tortoises on the island. But due to the very hot weather all the animals were hiding in the shade.
Seit 2014 gibt es eine Insel im Zoo. Es ist die Insel von Steve Irwins Tochter Bindi. Auf der Insel gibt es ein dreigeschossiges Baumhaus und freche Lemuren laufen frei herum. Es gibt auch Aras und zwei Riesen-Aldabra-Schildkröten auf der Insel. Aber aufgrund des sehr heißen Wetters versteckten sich alle Tiere im Schatten.
And of course there are many other animals to see, like one of our favorite animals the Wombat. We love Wombats, everyone loves Wombats, they´re just awesome. Then there is the Dingo, Australias wild dog. At this time we took care of a Dingo cross dog. You can see the similarity in the photos below.
They even had a Red Panda from asia, such a beautiful animal. But still, I would prefer to have seen him in the wild instead of a Zoo.
Und natürlich gibt es noch viele andere Tiere zu sehen, wie zum Beispiel eines unserer Lieblingstiere, das Wombat. Wir lieben Wombats, jeder liebt Wombats, sie sind einfach großartig. Dann gibt es den Dingo, Australias Wildhund. Zu dieser Zeit kümmerten wir uns um einen Dingo-Kreuzhund. Sie können die Ähnlichkeit auf den Fotos unten sehen.
Sie hatten sogar einen Roten Panda aus Asien, so ein wunderschönes Tier. Trotzdem hätte ich ihn lieber in der Wildnis als in einem Zoo gesehen.
