Lemnos is the island of Hephaestus, the god of fire according to ancient Greek mythology. A myth says that Hera, his mother, threw him from Mount Olympus, where Gods were living, on this island, because he saw that he was a ugly baby. When he landed on the island Hephaestus broke his leg.People of the island took care Hephaestus and the God taught them his art of ironsmith in turn.

Katalako village Lemnos
Katalako is one of the most picturesque and hilly villages of Lemnos.It is located 18 km north east of Myrina, Lemnos' capital. The village remains untouched by tourism and as a typical Greek village retains its original charm. It features a traditional layout and picturesque alleyways worth walking through.
Thanos village Lemnos
The village of Thanos is located on the mountain slopes, only 4 km southeast of Myrina, the capital of Lemnos and near the village of Plati. It has a population of 500 inhabitants, the majority of whom are farmers. This little village remains untouched by the craze of tourism and retains its traditional beauty. The ruins of Agios Konstantinos Church are one of Thanos' most important attractions.

Keros beach Lemnos
Keros is an infinite beach with soft white sand, characterized by its natural beauty. It's 32 km east of Myrina, the capital of Lemnos, and a few km from the village of Kalliopi.
Plati beach Lemnos
One of the most popular tourist resorts in Lemnos, which is located right under the village of Plati. This beautiful beach covers 700 meters and offers a variety of tourist facilities, including parasols and sun decks. It is 2km southeast of Myrina, the capital of Lemnos. There are cafeterias, bars and a water sports center offering training lessons and equipment for all ages.
Zematas beach Lemnos
The beach of Zematas is 40 km north-east of Myrina, the capital of Lemnos, near the ancient cavirus. You can walk along the ring road to the northeast and the main town on the way to the beach is the village of Kontopouli. It is one of the most isolated and mesmerizing beaches in Lemnos.
Louri beach Lemnos
Louri is a tranquil and unspoilt beach. Local buses connect the town with Louri village on a daily basis. Louri is a beautiful sandy beach with a rocky seabed. The place is ideal for sunbathing and swimming without the hustle and bustle of tourist crowds. Ιt has no beach facilities like sunbeds and umbrellas, and the area retains its virgin nature. Taverns and taxis are found far away from here.
Makris Gialos beach Lemnos
Makris Gialos is an exquisite sandy beach 36 km from the capital city of Myrina and 7 km from the city of Moudros. The beach has clear water and is several kilometers long.
Karvounolakas beach Lemnos
Karvounolakas is a beautiful beach 20 minutes drive from Lemnos capital. It is a secluded bay with soft sand, large greenery and colorful planting. There are no tourist facilities at this beach, but the crystal clear waters and the beautiful background are lovely. This is the ideal place for complete privacy and relaxation, with a natural beauty that is unique. It can be reached easily from the main road by car or motorbike.
