Hi @kouba01 I like this desing, it looks amazing and reminds me the saying that says divide and conquer because every individual leaf of this tree generates energy comparated to these big and expensive Eolic turbines..

Greetings from Venezuela.

Finding the cause can take a while. In the building process of the blades, all kinds of things can go wrong. This looks like a glass, carbon, or Kevlar laminate that failed. This could be due to stacking the layers wrong, mixing the resin wrong, curing the resin wrong or a design failure. If the turbine was spinning at the time it could also be it was spinning too fast; when the blade tips break the sound barrier they can come apart as would happen to airplane Props.

Do the blades not have the ability to adjust the pitch of the blades 😕

Yes, they can control RPM through variable blade pitch, angle to the wind direction and a brake, but these systems can fail as they need power to work.

Amazing!
Do you know why it is happened?

old age and friction with continuous air should be carried out regular maintenance and replacement.but
the coastline in our country is long enough with strong winds and suitable for windmill i hope someday many windmill in indonesia. Sad

I don't know.

Echt gut zusammen geschnitten^^
Grüße

Winds contains a lot of energy. This happened in France a couple of months ago. Safety should always be an issue in construction!

That's the revenge of the birds that get hurt by these things.

@smartbot balance

You have Σ0 SMART (unconfirmed: Σ0 SMART).

a very good post

Very cool thank you

How could that happend?

Hallo @cryptoriddler 🙂

interesting post

Extraordinary solution

Oh dear! 😲 Hope there is no casualties be it human or otherwise.

Wow, this is unbelievable...

Hey great blog post such an amazing one,all the best for your future projects, take care see you soon.

Never seen of thing that sort !

That reminds me of the story about a wind turbine being broken by a UFO (cough cough lol). It turned to to be 'material fatigue' in the end that put too much stress on some bolts somewhere and it collapsed, according to manufacturer.

One of the (many) vids about it (not mine)

Spooky ! woooooo !

wow very nice pic

it is very dangerous if left unchecked

wow I neves see something like this before :O

That's too bad!Shocked thing.

I think someone was trying to test out their wingsuit and turned the propellers to 11. :D

How is it happen?

That's not settled yet. The plant was newly built and was not yet in operation.

Wow.. Scaried.. Have poeple dead??

Luckily, there were no injured.

Oh.. 😊😊

What is that ? This real ? , I'm very scary

Yeah, it's real.
This is the fourth wind turbine that has been destroyed in the surrounding area within the last two years.

This can mean only one thing...

Mothra

wonder where the blades were made

Enercon

perfect posting that @cryptoriddler

Crazy how large they are. How did they break? Were there any injuries?

Wie kann denn sowas passieren?

Those old wind turbines with the massive vanes don't seem to be very reliable. I've seen some great alternatives where they use revolving cylinders. They seem to be more efficient, and a lot more stable.

I liked that one. It’s like the windmill reached to close to the sun :) melted m.
Good catch friend !

solar and wind power are a scam. its junk that always breaks.
while they keep you distracted with wind and solar that produce nothing, they erect nuclear power plants.
What do you think is going to power the electric cars? wind and solar?

LOLOLOL

Hello @cryptoriddler I liked this post, It will generate lots of comments because the importance of these structures for many countries in their economies, ecological energy is the future (but the truth is that this technology is old). Howerver the Engineers have to develop safe technology and not only safe, it has to be cheap, reliable, and clean.

Greetings From Venezuela.

Amazing, how did you get so many follower?

The price of modern technology!

very bad, should be find the alternative solutions.

RIP noble giant of the sky

Wie ist das passiert?

This is quite a terrible sight, especially if you consider that someone could suffer

alli te va mi apoyo

boss please vote me once let the spirit ... thank you

Crazy 😮 weiß jemand was die Ursache war ?

Oh thats so sad.

That's allot of expended effort for something to fail, there's a reason these things can cost millions of dollars. In the end it technically isn't free energy.
There's allot more going on there than just a spinning propeller, in order to actually get energy out it needs to be spinning at a certain rpm while you can expand that band it looses efficiency in doing so.
Once up to speed the transmissions need to make it so that the generator is spinning not only at it targeted frequency but it also needs to be in phase with all the other mills as well as the grid.
Much of this can be done with semiconductor as well as other controllers but next to a simple purely mechanical machine they are expensive and not known for their resilience.

nice

Cool post

Wowzers!!! Glad no one was hurt that we know of right?

Luckily, there were no injured.

Awwww, how long does it take to fix that?

Outstanding topic ever

Vote for my post please.

I really like this post cryptoriddler! keep it up!

Wow, these pictures speak volumes about the progress humanity is attempting to make at better energy usage / production.

Such an interesting post.. regards from Venezuela

Usefully

wow very nice pic

A good one. :D

cool photo. Thanks for following!

WOW, where is this

That had to be the strongest storm ever! I've seen those in East Texas and in West New Mexico. The wings on them or at least two school buses long. That is amazing.

This things are massive and it is quite scary to be so close, but statistically speaking, probably is safer than driving a car.
It is a unique feeling hearing the hurl of the blade when descending and then rising away from you.

I fear this is what they will all look like some day when the government subsidies stop, and the investors/corporate raiders walk away.
